BEI, Incorporated (formerly know as Blueberry Equipment Incorporated) primarily builds harvesters and packing house equipment for the Blueberry Industry. BEI is not limited to the blueberry industry as it also builds equipment for other fruits/vegetables and also builds specialized industrial equipment. BEI got its start in Grand Junction, Michigan, in 1959... It was there that we invented our first Mechanical Blueberry Harvester. In 1970, BEI moved to South Haven, Michigan and our work force expanded to 30 full time employees. In its new factory, BEI quickly expanded its product line with harvesters for raspberries, grapes, jojoba beans, strawberries, saskatoons, and the list of specialized agricultural equipment continues to grow. As we have entered the twenty-first century, BEI is not standing still. BEI is incorporating modern technology to improve harvesting and packaging equipment. BEI has also expanding into specialized fruit and vegetable handling equipment. BEI has not limited itself to just harvesting and packaging equipment, BEI also builds Curtec® Sprayers, the worlds most advanced Orchard/Row crop sprayer.
